What you'll be doing

Coordinate and maintain positive public relation and clear communication with family, staff, volunteer, and facility personnel. Develop site newsletter. Maintain and update record. Maintain monthly statistic. Maintain required child staff ratio. Provide direct supervision of a group of children as necessary. Ensure the supplies are maintained and purchased as necessary. Maintain equipment in sound and safe order. Maintain the daily cleanliness and safety of the site. Ensure that safety hazard are corrected. Attend staff meeting and training as required. Recruit new enrollment at site, and assist with family support service. Assist with developing and monitoring department budget. Recruit and support member of parent advisory.

What your background should be

Experience in working with children the same age as those to be supervised. Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse population language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc. Demonstrated knowledge in behavior management; program management and school age activity planning and coordinating skill. Knowledge of culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate practice. Ability to speak any language in addition to english may be helpful.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree preferred
