What you'll be doing
- We are currently on the lookout for a competent Project Engineer to join our company. The Project Engineer position duties include: - Generate design calculations and requisite analysis together with CAD drawings for various structural components, while assuring accomplishing and submittal of projects. - Apply engineering skills in the process of cooperation with Regional Sales Managers regarding technical questions. - Provide design / detailers with interpretations and instructions of designs. - Make certain all the projects conform to all applicable specifications, codes and standards of the industry. - Set and direct project schedules.
What your background should be
- The Project Engineer position required the following experience and knowledge levels: - Working knowledge of finite element design. - Prior professional experience in design drafting software, project scheduling, spreadsheet creation and word processing. - Exceptional oral and written communication skills including ability to complete presentations and create detailed reports and records. - Degree obtained in an accredited four year University or College, with emphasis in Mechanical Engineering or Structural / Civil Engineering. - PE certificate is a must have. - Prior experience working in a structured team strongly desired.
