What you'll be doing

In this role, you will be focusing on ensuring the success of customer deployments, managing the planning and execution of optimization efforts, and coordinating the interaction of internal, partner and customer resources toward the completion of key services projects. May manage small to medium or a portion of larger, more complex customer facing project. Creation of the project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirement. Participate in the preparation of proposals and agreements. May oversee project staff including project engineers, vendors, partners or subcontractors. Manage the project from start to completion including the resolution of project issues. Accountable for the project budget present service business value to customers for new or existing business. May manage internal projects/programs within Cisco. May manage ongoing optimization service to deployed customer network including elements of customer operations analyst. Manage 30/90 day AS SOS project plans across multiple SOS contracts. Create QBR slide deck data. Manage SOS subscription projects from the Cisco side.

What your background should be

3 years-related experience in networking, telecommunications industry or minimum 4 years managing LAN and WAN network implementation and support. 2 years Project Management experience in the deployment of leading edge technologies. Has embarked on a program of formal Project Management training. May have knowledge of routing, routing protocols, switching, internet and general network architecture. Has an understanding of project scoping and risk assessment techniques. Has good negotiation and presentation skills Understands the organization, aims and processes.
