What your background should be

Must possess and maintain an active SECRET security clearance for the entire duration of the contract. Possession of a certificate for training in the property book unit supply enhanced (PBUSE) system is required or the candidate must be capable of earning a PBUSE certificate within three months of being hired. Ideal candidate will have had experience in a battalion level or higher equivalent position. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Must possess a driving license valid to operate vehicles in the state at which he/she is employed. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ideal candidate will have completed prerequisite training for army military occupational specialty (MOS) 92Y3O, unit supply specialist or have equivalent training and possess a certificate for training in the property book unit supply enhanced (PBUSE) system with expert level proficiency in the operation of the system. Thorough knowledge of inventory procedures dealing with inventories that include; basic issue items (BII), component of end items (COEI), additional authorized listings (AAL) and managing equipment fielded to a unit with no ideal candidate national stock number (NSN). Possess knowledge of army standardized supply regulations (specifically DA Pam 710-2-1 unit supply system), policies, procedures or other written or verbal instructions relating to receipt and/or issue of stock or property items. Demonstrated knowledge of supply documentation dealing with hand receipts, sub-hand receipts and shortage-annex procedures, financial liability investigation of property loss (FLIPL) and be an expert with equipment inventorying. Candidate should possess the ability to perform a range of standard and non-standard clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate of arts (AA) degree; high school diploma or general equivalent diploma (GED) acceptable with seven (7) years of property book/accountability experience.
