What you'll be doing

The candidate is responsible to maintain resident community documents, policies and procedures. Analyze advantages and disadvantages on alternative solutions to problems and make recommendations to the board of directors. Provide leadership and direction to effectively manage relationships with other business groups such as leasing and asset management. Ensure a high level of tenant service and achievement of company and property goals and objectives. Develop and maintain effective on going resident relations program, implement initiatives, and maintain an operating environment to achieve a satisfactory level of resident service measured by formal and informal feedback and surveys. Manage resident relationships to ensure resident retention and a high level of service including timely and complete resolution of resident concerns, coordination of special services and request and conduct formal and informal inspections. Ensures property improvements and other construction related projects are completed on time and within budget by effectively overseeing all construction projects. Establish and maintain industry contacts and relationships in the properties marketplace through involvement in trade organizations, property management and real estate associations and networking opportunities with vendor outreach and peer groups. Communicate in a professional and composed demeanor under all circumstances. Respond to telephone calls and correspondence in a timely and professional manner. Ability to analyze situations that otherwise could be potential problems and resolve. Act quickly and effectively when the situation demands it. Organize time effectively and successfully balance the competing demands of multiple projects. Prepare accurate management reports, budget reports and operational reports and submit in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Two to five years of experience in job real field required. Required to be certified and licensed by the state of florida for community association management. Must have experience in landlord and resident code and florida court filing processes. The candidate must possess managerial background and strong communication skills in both written and spoken; strong customer service skills. Computer literacy or proficiency and working knowledge of microsoft office applications preferred. Qualified individuals will have proven performance in successfully monitoring financial statements, capital enhancement projects, revenue, expenses and net operating income and occupancy goals.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in Business or related field from a accredited college or university or equivalent required.
