What you'll be doing
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing company-wide safety programs. Processing QA documentation. Assisting the QA manager with administrative duties. Routinely monitor safety program for effectiveness and improvement. Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and release them to staff as necessary. Complete monthly electronic file preparation and submittal to the state of California. Prepare pre-audit paperwork, compile corrective action preventative action reports, and conduct other laboratory audit tasks. Review and process staff training documentation and laboratory quality assurance paperwork. Conduct initial quality assurance and safety training for all new employees. Collaborate with team members to complete initiatives.
What your background should be
- Prior chemistry or biology coursework required. Minimum of one (1) year environmental laboratory experience preferred. Computer literacy required. Detail oriented and deadline driven.
Required Schooling / Training
- Batchelor degree in chemistry, biology
