What you'll be doing
- Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedure. Document patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician. Confirm patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity. Prepare and administer contrast media as required. Consult with radiologist and other physician as necessary. Select and operate equipment as dictated by demand of individual procedure and demonstrate correct and adequate anatomic positioning skill. Maintain appropriate record as required by departmental standard. Perform all other assigned task as required.
What your background should be
- One year of direct patient care works experience preferred. BLS HCP certification from AHA required. Successful completion of a formal radiology technology program in an AMA approved facility required. Registered by the ARRT is required. Strong interpersonal skill is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skill desired.
