What you'll be doing
- The Radiology Technologist Per Diem operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Transfers, positions and instructs patients regarding the procedure. Selects appropriate imaging techniques, and operates console and peripheral hardware. Enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to magnetic media to produce transparency, and develops film in automatic processor and inspects for quality and completeness. Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and matrix camera.
What your background should be
- One(1) year of related CT/MRI experience. Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT). AZ state license. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). BLS certification.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associate degree or equivalent from two years college or technical school.
