What you'll be doing

Provides adequate staffing by identifying sources of applicants and developing advertising campaigns. Writes and places advertisements and job postings. Maintains up to date job hotline and job openings book. Identifies referral sources. Coordinates participation in and attending job fairs and handling employment or agency inquiries. Promotes equal opportunity employment by analyzing results of outreach efforts and modifying recruitment efforts based on those results. Coordinates and hosts on site orientation meetings for minority agency staff. Distributes and posts job openings. Maintains accurate and up to date recruitment and applicant files. Prepares the annual employment, recruiting and advertising and testing budget; schedule, monitor, track and analyze expenditures and process invoices; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions. Implements diversity recruitment strategies and participate in applicable national recruiting conferences. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

What your background should be

The applicant should have experience in related field. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.). Knowledge of cable television products and services. Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies. Knowledge of staffing and employment practices.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree.
