What you'll be doing
- The incumbent is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting. Perform general nursing duties as appropriate for level of care. Participate in performance improvement, quality and service excellent activities. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Perform focused interview to identify specific patient need. Assess sign and symptom indicating physiologic and psychosocial change in the patient condition. Collect, analyze and interpret data and information from health care member and document actual and potential nursing diagnose. Plan for expected outcome of care for those patient assigned.
What your background should be
- One year of demonstrated experience in an acute care hospital setting. One year ICU experience. Completion of critical care course required. Current RN License must be active and unrestricted for the state of California. Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS certification required. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Proficient computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
