What you'll be doing
- The clinical research nurse (CRN) is responsible for coordinating and carrying out assigned clinical research studies. This is accomplished through the development or updating of protocols, procedures, and standards for a study in collaboration with the investigators. The CRN teaches the research participant protocol specific information, reinforces compliance to protocol procedures, collects research data as required, and provides direct nursing care as needed. The CRN may coordinate and instruct other health team members. Performs other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Must have a minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience. Must have a current New York State registered nurse license. Knowledge of computer programs (Word and Excel) and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Must be proficient in the use of computer programs for document development, documentation, and the creation and use of spreadsheets.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required.
