What you'll be doing

Answers all incoming calls and promotes company through proactive selling. Requires to meet call expectation in the areas of rapport building, determining guest goals and descriptive selling based on those goals, customer service and knowledge, and closing a sale. Completes bi-weekly call notes, which is a summary of the types of calls, trends and information on marketing efforts or operational issues affecting guests. Tracks and provides details of service turn ways due to price, availability, gender preference, equipment/room or other reasons. Makes accurate reservations for spa club by inputting data for reservation in computer system using correct client type. Quotes rates accurately based on promotions, day of the week and client type. Makes elaborate notes of guest gender preference, special needs, or instructions. Captures leads by asking for name and phone numbers of callers that did not make a reservation.

What your background should be

Hospitality experience preferred. Must have excellent telephone skills and a confident, positive attitude for making reservation sales for company. Computer knowledge required, concept desired. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to cheerfully handle stress in a busy office. Must have an aptitude for guest service and sales. Must be flexible; able to interact well with a variety of people. Must possess basic computer usage skills and be able to type a minimum of 40 w.p.m.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
