What you'll be doing

Maintaining optimal staffing levels by hiring and scheduling employees to ensure operations run efficiently. Supervising staff to ensure that customers receive excellent service and quality food. Maintaining equipment and ensuring sanitation standards are adhered to. Communicating with vendors about the delivery of supplies and equipment repairs. Implementing and executing appropriate financial controls such as petty cash, profit and loss statements, daily deposits and financial reports to ensure that there is proper accountability for funds. Preparing projections of future sales and expenses to establish realistic yet challenging profit objectives. Receiving and resolving customer complaints in a tactful manner to maintain customer satisfaction. Exercising sound managerial judgments and decision making pertaining to all employee relations and personal actions. Conducting timely performance evaluations, handling grievances, taking disciplinary actions. Counseling employees to develop enthusiastic, professional and cooperative attitudes. Completing, approving, submitting and maintaining internal records and reports as required.

What your background should be

5 plus years management experience required; food service/restaurant experience preferred. Excellent employee training and development abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to satisfactorily complete REAP Training Program. Proficiency with POS cash register system, kitchen order screens, ReMACS and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
