What you'll be doing

This position will oversee the day to day operations of catering, retail and cafe services. Successful candidate delivers strong operational performance by executing healthcare and regulatory agency standards and programs, continually monitoring operations, and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide optimal food quality and meal service. Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and general workplace safety standards. Responsible for purchasing, receiving, scheduling and managing food service activities in compliance with company healthcare food service systems. Supervises catering operations including booking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing, coordinating staff and equipment rental. Manages and controls resources and materials to ensure quality, adequacy of supply and cost control within budgetary guidelines.

What your background should be

5+ years experience in full service catering along with management skills to supervise and direct staff. Management experience leading and directing supervisors and hourly staff in front of house and back of house operations, budgeting and cost control experience preferred. Heavy experience in restaurant style food service is essential in this role. Excellent computer skills are essential in this role with previous experience working with Microsoft Office tools and Windows operating systems.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree.
