Perform the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) and deliver safe therapeutic nursing care in consultation/collaboration with interdisciplinary members of the patient care team. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit(s). Possess the ability to assess and interpret appropriate data relative to age and to provide nursing care as needed as described in the unit(s) policies and procedures; demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development through the life span. Possess an understanding of the range of treatments needed by patients.
What your background should be
Minimum of 2 or more years of pediatric acute care and pediatric solid organ transplant experience required. Current California RN license, current aha healthcare provider BCLS and PALS certification.
Required Schooling / Training
Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Prefer BSN.
