What you'll be doing
- The hiring company is currently looking for a unit specific flex RN. This experienced clinician functions at the competent or higher stage of benner model of clinical expertise, supporting a particular nursing unit and patient population. The candidate will provide direct patient care effectively and efficiently to a patient team which may include patients with varied and complex needs. S/he will support unit leadership and responsible to participate in unit and hospital initiatives, and possibly contribute to service line or hospital wide activities. The incumbent will provide direction, plans, lead, and manage people effectively. The applicant will adhere to the ICARE values.
What your background should be
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience in an acute care hospital. Minimum 2 years of experience as a float nurse preferred. The applicant should have current nursing license for Texas, BLS certificate, and ACLS for those floating to ICU, ER, PACU, Cath lab and PALS for those floating to PACU. S/he should have basic computer skills, and must be able to write and speak effectively in English.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required or graduation from an accredited school of nursing
