What you'll be doing
- Support a particular nursing unit and patient population. Provide direct patient care effectively and efficient to a patient team which may include patients with varied and complex needs. Support unit leadership and has responsibility to participate in unit and hospital initiatives, and possibly contribute to service line or hospital wide activities; duties and responsibilities are cross-referenced to the company excellence. Provide direction and plans. Lead and manage people. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum two years relevant RN experience in an acute care hospital. Minimum of two years experience as a float nurse preferred. All certification must be approved by the American heart association. Other certifications as required by unit/service.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required.
