What you'll be doing
- Interface with customers via inbound or outbound calls or the internet for the purpose of solving customer issues and questions and then converting that dialogue into an opportunity to actively sell other products and services. Responsibilities include processing customer orders and sales; providing and receiving various information; up-selling client products plus handling miscellaneous customer service and general information calls via the phone or internet. Products that are sold may include upgrades to current wireless accounts, local phone services, cable services, and high speed internet. Supporting wireless phone customers (billing, service, sales, inquiries, etc.). Up-selling and cross-selling is for wireless, TV, internet, and home phone based products. Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy; meeting customer requirements on a first call resolution.
What your background should be
- Sales, customer service and call center experience preferred. Ability to transition and sell multiple products after resolving call-in issue. Knowledge of basic computer operations and functions. Comfortable with multitasking and navigating multiple applications in a windows environment. Willingness to rotate shifts, as needed.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school degree.
