What you'll be doing
- The field sales associate is responsible for engaging in lead generation activity that result in viable new sales opportunity within designated region. Directly responsible for delivering on lead generation goal and key performance indicator target within designated region. Prioritize opportunity based upon profitability and customer timeline. Effectively leverage the company value proposition to capture viable lead. Develop initial relationship with prospect in order to create a viable lead. Generate lead through a combination of networking, web inquiry, onsite visit, appointment and cold calling. Create a solid first impression of companies service and solution. Track lead opportunity resulting from marketing campaign. Take appropriate step to review and report campaign effectiveness and take appropriate action to follow up on opportunity. Establish appointment for sales director and associate sales director. Ensure a seamless handoff between lead generation and onsite appointment. Consistently and effectively utilize the customer relationship management system and available marketing and sales effectiveness tool and resource. Regularly contribute to the overall effectiveness of the entire market based team. Actively participate in pipeline review and discussion with direct manager and other key stakeholder. Regularly assess risk and opportunity and partner with sales director to create appropriate action plan. Maintain an ongoing knowledge of competitive threat and regularly share this information with other in order to proactively maintain market leadership status. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshop; review professional publication; establish personal network; benchmark state of the art practice; participate in professional society to foster continued growth and knowledge of the long term care industry. Document and manage all follow up activity.
What your background should be
- Demonstrated prior experience in sales either inside sales or field sales. Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytic skills and solid business acumen. Effective time management and problem solving skills. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must be willing to travel up to 50%. Must have a working knowledge of computers in a Windows or Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in business, sales or marketing or related field preferred.
