What you'll be doing
- Developing schedule for the general sport and lodge department and monitoring payroll on a daily basis to ensure payroll plan are met. Manage the sale performance of the general sport and lodge department to meet sale and margin goal. Uphold company standard for merchandise presentation. Participating in the recruiting, interviewing and hiring for hourly and salaried associate in the hardiness area. Issue appropriate counseling and disciplinary action to those associate who fail to meet the performance standard. Ensuring compliance to all guideline involved with safety, loss prevention and cash handling procedure.
What your background should be
- Three to five years of retail or related management experience. Strong problem solving ability and analytical skills. Good attention to detail. Flexible availability, including weekend and holiday. Ability to meet federal requirement for handling and processing firearm transaction. Proficiency in MS Office.
