What you'll be doing

Responsible for exceeding all sales production targets. Efficiently manages territory resources to maximize daily production and time in front of customers. Cultivates new customers through professional prospecting, cold calling, referrals and company leads. Skillfully uses mobile phone and computer to demonstrate services during customer interactions. Partners with commercial security consultant on projects beyond the scope of the company. Experts in customer relationships, conflict resolution, negotiation, and customer service. Meets and exceeds weekly activity and sales targets. Sales representative may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed and complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Applicable state and local licenses as required. Must have valid driving license issued by the state in which s/he reside and proper automobile registration. Proof of insurance for personal automobile liability with limits no lower than the financial responsibility limits required by the state where the employee resides. Knowledge of and a proficiency in using computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), and internet. Excellent time management, planning and forward-thinking skills. Competent in surveying, pricing, designing and closing select product solutions. Self-motivated and a professional attitude. Excellent communication and listening skills. Excellent teambuilding, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Must possess good decision making skills, be very organized and detail oriented. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, delays or unexpected events; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation. Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted. Ability to maintain composure, keep emotions in check and avoid aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
