What you'll be doing

The Sales Training Manager delivers sales training designed to maximize the effectiveness of the sales and customer service departments. The Sales Training Manager also provides a complete training experience by owning the whole process of learning, through actively employing the participant managers in the process before, during and after a development offering; facilitates core Republic Services training programs by means of classroom instruction, on the job (OJT) training, computer based (CBT) training, virtual classroom, or one to one coaching to support an environment of positive change; develops training schedule that leverages cost effective location selections and travel logistics to ensure maximum attendance and timeliness for sales training initiatives; monitors new hires on boarding progress as it relates to materials, schedule, and course completion; promotes transference of skills to job behavior through systematic communication with sales management personnel, coaches sales, customer service management and sales personnel for improved sales results through on site division visits; performs other job related duties as assigned or apparent.

What your background should be

Minimum of 3 years of experience in business to business sales management or minimum of 5 years of experience as a business to business sales representative, minimum of 4 years of experience in direct sales training, experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool such as Salesforce.com or SalesLogix, minimum of 2 years of experience in direct sales training. Ability to transfer knowledge, excellent organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, planning and implementing assignments, knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint, extremely detail oriented, proven ability to multi task and effectively prioritize in a fast paced environment, proven ability to take initiative and work independently with high level of independent motivation, proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree is preferred.
