What you'll be doing
- Provides client and company team leadership in support of projects that span requirements, design, development and deployment, as well as in support of sales efforts for new and future work. Support the identification, development and closure of sales efforts in support of an identified sales target. Provides chemicals & petroleum industry guidance, strategies and best practices.Maintain chemicals & petroleum industry references, approaches, company contacts and competitive analysis, in support of both general industry solutions and specific solutions for chemicals & petroleum. Build and lead internal communities of company industry practitioners. Lead or contribute to the creation of company positions on specific chemicals & petroleum industry topics. Define, develop and use repeatable consulting industry solutions; and Transfer knowledge to local company teams through training and side by side engagement work.
What your background should be
- Prefer candidates to reside in Houston, TX or surrounding areas! Travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends based on project requirements).At least 5 years experience in business development, consulting and delivery of SAP solutions. At least 5 years experience in business process re engineering at an executive level. 5 years experience in business operations and strategy at an executive level and at least 5 years experience in the Chemical and Petroleum industry. 5 years experience in developing executive level relationships, with prior experience in the identification, development, and closure of sales efforts.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor of Science degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.Master degree preferred.
