What you'll be doing

This position provides administrative and operational support to the office of environmental safety and occuaptional health service, a high complexity level medical facility. The purpose of the position is to perform administrative functions that include answering safety hotlines calls an documenting customer service requests, records filing, human resources assistance, budget, finance, and office support services, document control, logistics, and a variety of related administrative matters in support of the company service. Provides full, substantive administrative support to the assistant chief and chief requiring expert skills in varied administrative support processes. Duties include, but may not be limited to preparing reports, answering safety hotline calls. Manages and prepares responses to correspondence. Coordinates environmental of care rounds. Designs suspense systems for actions requiring follow up. Establishes office organizational systems. Attends all staff conferences and record minutes. Prepares electronic spreadsheets. Assists with preparation and distribution documents and data collection. Participates in studies to assist ES&OH in collection of pertinent information.

What your background should be

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
