What you'll be doing

Responsible for serving and protecting the university by assisting law enforcement in reporting crime and suspicious activity to maintain visibility of security presence to deter crime and assist faculty staff and student as needed and to enforce all parking regulation. Issue parking citation, direct flow of traffic and assist with parking vehicle. Provide a detailed written report on witnessing any criminal activity. Patrol building and ground to check for fire, water leak and general building security. Deal with individual and critical situation in an effective manner is a must. Make logical decision based on known fact in order to safeguard the university is prescribed. Plan, organize and coordinate work assignment to complete unsupervised work task. Perform all other assigned task as required.

What your background should be

Require ability to understand and apply rule, regulation, policies, procedure and law. Computer keyboard skills are required. Require ability to prepare report, describing fact and event accurately. Ability to communicate effectively verbally by radio is essential.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent.
