Senior Applications Systems Programmer Analyst

What you'll be doing: The client is seeking an applications systems programmer analyst. At the direction of the manager, independently perform programming analysis functions, and support. This position requires strong functional analytical skills. Work with payroll and human resources modules HCM version 9.0 or higher, finance and SCM modules Fin/SCM version 9.0 or higher, and peopletools 8.5 or higher. Work directly with the end users in requirement gathering, translate business requirements in to technical specifications, and develop peoplesoft solutions. Develop online applications using peopletools, application designer, and peoplecode. Develop ad-hoc, canned and analytical reports using PS query, SQR, and BI publisher. Develop new interfaces between peoplesoft system and other departmental systems. Upgrade experience involving fit gaps, applying customizations, testing, and implementation. Apply patches, bundles, maintenance packs using change assistant.

What your background should be: Minimum five years of relevant experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Experience with integration technologies like integration broker, component interfaces, Excel to CI, application engines and SQR. Hands-on experience with MS-Excel. Experience working in both Windows and UNIX environments, and basic windows/shell scripting experience. Must have knowledge in PeopleSoft security, managing roles, permission lists, users, process groups, and query security.
