What you'll be doing

Perform final quality control for voice and graphic materials, as well as translations produced by other linguists. Provide on-line assistance to other linguists. Produce translations in final format, ensuring that the final version reproduces with absolute exactitude the original text. Draft and edit summaries based on various sources of written communications. Perform assigned tasks smoothly and efficiently. Shall be the focal points for coordination the organization or resources and information in support of the mission and operational requirements.

What your background should be

Senior linguists must have a minimum of seven (7) years of transcription, translation or other language related cryptologic experience. They must have extensive experience in language, literature, linguistics, or related humanistic fields. Performance at Level 3 in listening, reading and translation as defined by the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) is required. Must possess or be capable of obtaining a TS/SCI with poly.
