Senior Financial Analyst

What you'll be doing: Take high level direction and work independently to drive execution of department goals. Work cross-functionally with pricing operations, legal, commercial finance, and global strategic pricing to identify opportunities/risks and drive implementation of changes. Identify, quantify, evaluate and prioritize business improvement opportunities based on gpi models and other business performance data. Develop analysis requirements and plans to execute and implement projects. Support development and training of co-workers in other departments on transportation, pricing, and compliance concepts. Develop customer compliance information tools and supporting business processes to maintain visibility to relevant customer terms and conditions. Summarize analysis, create organizational buy-in, establish deadlines, and follow-up. Track and communicate progress and results of improvement projects. Proactively identify unfavorable transportation terms, off contract price books, and unfavorable price methods.

What your background should be: 3+ years of transportation, pricing operations, operations improvement, financial analysis, or sales operations support experience. 1-2+ years project management experience. Ability to effectively work independently with limited day-to-day supervision. Understanding of financial concepts, analytical approaches and operational modeling skills. Strong data handling skills with demonstrated ability to turn high volume of data into actionable information. Ability to streamline collection, analysis and reporting processes. Ability to develop and present effective presentations to senior management. Ability to perform effectively under pressure and to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
