Senior Foreign Military Sales Analyst (FMS)

What you'll be doing: The senior foreign military sales analyst (FMS) candidate conducts analytical studies of military, commercial, or civil operations. The candidate provides administrative and operational support to client in a variety of functional areas, which may include document research; analysis of financial, supply, and foreign military sales documents; document preparation; data research; and preparation of research findings. Prepares and conducts briefings as required. Position requires interaction with client and other client support personnel. S/he applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Applicant exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. This position builds productive internal/external working relationships. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.

What your background should be: The candidate should have 10 years of related FMS/navy logistics/finance experience. Additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for the bachelor degree requirement. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. S/he must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent resident with a minimum of 3 years legal residency in the United States (as required by the secretary of defense DTM 08-006)
