Senior Healthcare Economic Analyst (SAS Programming)

What you'll be doing

This position will be responsible for developing, designing and programming in SAS, and performing other analysis related to the evaluation of various initiatives aimed at reducing the cost of health care. Identify members or providers targeted by affordability initiative. Summarize and analyze utilization of targeted members or providers. Modify/maintain various related reports related to ongoing initiatives. Provide explanations on the findings and make recommendations based on the analysis. Investigate and identify potential areas for improvement. Serve as a resource to others.

What your background should be

Minimum 1 year of experience programming in SAS required. Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis required. Experience in the extraction of data and the use of large data sets to perform analysis preferred. Health care industry experience preferred. Must have good communication skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree required.
