What you'll be doing
- Senior Manager will lead cross-functional groups to deliver on synergy work streams. Leads strategic direction and drives related initiatives as alliance champion for business units and executive team. Makes resource and investment allocation recommendations based on financial analysis and in support of the vision and strategy. Oversees the execution of assigned projects and priorities delivering 3-year synergies partnership and enabling long term value creation. Manages the delivery of assigned FoS work streams, which may include a subset of on-line, Showcase, Look level, store test and roll out and holiday assortment projects encompassing in-store, assortment optimization and customer value proposition evolution and alignment. Identify program risks and implements strategies to mitigate these identified risks. Oversees strategy that drives to achieve overall business objectives through delivery of project management expertise throughout the organization. Candidate has direct impact on short and long term results. Lead the conversion and construction playbooks and detailed daily plans. Works cross-functionally with global functions such as sourcing, merchandising, Marketing/Advertising, IT, Assortments, LP and Supply Chain related to synergizing partnership. Facilitate determination of timing for deployment and creating schedules for deployment teams.
What your background should be
- This position required at least 2 years experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work. Bachelor degree and at least 5 years experience in Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, or Supply Chain OR MBA and at least 4 years experience in retail, consulting, finance, or CPG industries. Experience with related financial modeling and analysis. Experience using retail data such as Nielsen or IRI. Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives). Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization. Experience collaborating with internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines. Knowledge of retail store merchandising including placement and promotion. Knowledge of logistics and the effect on store and warehouse fill rates, inventory, and shelf life, and the results these areas have on Company profitability.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, or Supply Chain and MBA in retail, consulting, finance or CPG industries.
