What you'll be doing
- Manage activities related to on-boarding of new physician practices, organize efforts among various teams within the IS department, and coordinate efforts with other hospital departments to ensure successful acquisitions and a high level of physician satisfaction. Responsible for system implementation projects and supporting the enterprise practice management and electronic health record system for physician practices. Serve as a physician liaison between information systems department and the physician community. Develop relationships with physician practice coordinators, IT managers and physicians in employed practices. Provide and facilitate support to physician practices utilizing various IS resources and vendors. Identify opportunities to improve practice efficiencies and recommend innovative solutions using IT technologies.
What your background should be
- Five years healthcare clinical experience. Two years healthcare clinical systems experience (with B.S. degree). Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- B.S. degree in nursing, business, computer science or related field.
