What you'll be doing
- Work in partnership with senior management, product managers, stakeholders, and assigned software development teams to assess and prioritize project objectives. Engage actively and contribute to project management standards within the organization. Collaborate with fellow project managers to optimize project management practices and processes. Lead and conduct focused, effective meetings with diversified groups. In agile team environments, plan and facilitate iteration planning meetings, daily stand-ups, and story grooming meetings. Conduct formal retrospectives at key project milestones and final project completion, to confirm project acceptance and satisfaction, and to establish lessons learned. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software project management. 5+ years of progressive experience in software development team roles with emphasis on agile methods and project organization. PMP, SCRUM master, ITIL and other relevant certifications considered beneficial.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree or equivalent desired.
