Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

What you'll be doing: Oversees all testing staff and activities for all assigned applications and projects; ensures all testing standards are being met. Serves as a senior escalation point for issues involving test cases and test results. Plans and facilitates all communication and decisions about testing strategy, schedules and meetings with the project manager, development team & business stakeholders for more complex system projects. Defines test process including required test activities and deliverables. Identifies test resources, estimates test effort and defines test schedule and milestones. Ensures technical resources are organized for effective support of testing, conducting walk-through of test strategy. Establishes and maintains performance testing guidelines for both manual and automated testing. Manages process to make sure test environments are refreshed and ready. Ensures traceability of test cases back to project requirements. Assists as a resource to test analyst in the creation of test cases and approves test cases. Conducts test readiness assessment. Coordinates and monitors the execution of all test cases, log and review issues and defects identified by testers.

What your background should be: Minimum of 5 years of software testing and relevant quality assurance (QA) technical experience. Minimum of 5 years consulting experience in software testing and quality assurance. Software quality assurance certification from an industry recognized organization or the ability to secure certification within 12 months of hire date. Technical writing experience.
