What you'll be doing
- The senior recruiter is responsible for developing innovative and cost-effective recruiting strategies to meet the critical business needs of the company for a defined functional and/or geographic unit. The responsible one will provide hands-on consultative expertise to designated hiring managers on strategic staffing issues, the senior recruiter recruits, interviews and screens external and internal candidates, ensuring a diverse pool of qualified candidates for all openings. Additionally, the recruiter provides guidance and assistance to hiring managers with regard to recruitment activities including recruitment strategies, interviewing procedures and job posting processes. Additional activities include, but are not limited to: recruitment of applicants through traditional and non-traditional sourcing, interviews with prospective candidates, administration of employment testing, candidate reference checks, compliance with drug-testing, job offers, new hire processing, etc.
What your background should be
- The ideal candidate requires having minimum of three years experience as a recruiter, preferably within a telecommunications, media or high-technology environment or related industry. Applicant must be familiar with current laws/legal requirements concerning recruitment and employment, EEO, ADA, labor relations, etc. Experience with one or more internet recruiting sources and applicant tracking systems would be beneficial. Applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface in a professional manner with all levels of management.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in human resources or applicable field of study is asked.
