What you'll be doing
- Create documents based on pertinent army client operations policies, future operating concepts, technical information, consultations with the client, and other sources. Plan and prepare the technical data for major publications projects. Analyze requirements, develop source material, consult component commands and units and technical staff, and work with editors and illustrators to prepare drafts. Acquire and interpret necessary data, drawings, and specifications through research and liaise with technical staff. Provide guidance and direction in the areas of quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style. Ensure adherence to specifications and participate in client review of technical documents.
What your background should be
- Experience with coordinating multiple and large-scale special warfare exercises, supporting army and joint SOF readiness objectives. Experience with providing direct input into army and joint special warfare and force integration and interoperability initiatives. Experience with directed, coordinated, and facilitated training and combat operations with guerrilla forces, auxiliary support, and coordination with undergrounds experience with planning, coordinating, and executing training for in army special forces operations and tactics experience with providing specialized instruction in unconventional warfare and foreign internal defense or counterinsurgency.
Required Schooling / Training
- MS degree in defense analysis or concentration in irregular warfare.
