What you'll be doing

As a senior transportation project manager, the candidate will focus on the highway and multi modal design projects, which may involve alternative delivery including design build and cm/gc. Pursue high profile project involving a high level of client interaction, the development of strategic teaming arrangements and leading a technically diverse team in pursuit of project wins throughout colorado. Develop relationships within the organization. Has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments and provides quality control of work. Coordinate the assignment of manpower with other offices in the timely forecast of project needs. Maintain relationships and has good communication skills with individuals within the others company and the clients. Knowledgeable in using industry accepted engineering and transportation design software. Develop scopes of work, project hours and fees, project schedules and manages budgets. Coordinate and carry out the marketing and financial objectives and policies established by the board of directors. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

The candidate must have a minimum 12 years of experience operating in the surface transportation civil engineering industry. Professional engineer license in the state of colorado is required. Knowledge of successful marketing in the sales capacity is required for this position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in civil engineering is required.
