What you'll be doing

Responsible for the administration of financial aid policies, requirements and procedures. Manage day-to-day operations for optimal customer service and efficiency. Promote a work environment that is positive, student-centered and compliant with established policies and procedures. Perform job function with strong attention to detail on every account reviewed. Prioritize multiple tasks and conflicting priorities. Manage department of education timelines for releasing all eligible credit balances. Understand and implement all department of education regulations in regards to title IV funding. Ensure the security of financial aid applications, documents, systems, and students personally identifiable information. Effectively use information to analyze complex situations and take corrective action. Assume responsibility to prioritize emerging issues, handle concurrent objectives and meet deadlines. Provide world class customer service to all customers both internal and external. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

What your background should be

At least 1 year of finance & customer service experience is required. Ability to follow prescribed criteria and make decisions based on these criteria. Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to do multi-task.
