What you'll be doing

Coordinates and maintains the day-to-day operations of the nursing lab for use by all nursing students and nursing faculty. Follows administrative processes of ordering and ensuring that lab supplies are at the required levels to not diminish level of learning required for the nursing students. Ensures that all supplies, equipment, media, computers, and materials needed to replicate virtual healthcare are available and all equipment and simulation technology are at optimum operating levels. Ensures preparation of lab supplies and equipment is compliant with evidence-based and best-practices through the policies, procedures, and instructional techniques required to meet scheduled courses. Ensures that technology is deployed in teaching strategies to remain on cutting edge of simulated virtual health care environments. Performs other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Preferred 3 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience or work experience in managing a skills learning lab. Must have current unencumbered nursing license. Highly effective communication skills. Good planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Basic instructional and pedagogical concepts and methods in health care instruction. Good relationship management skills. Good problem solving ability, judgment, and sound decision-making.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in nursing, master degree (MSN) preferred.
