What you'll be doing
- The SOC Program Manager is responsible for managing the coordination of SOC compliance audits with little or no supervision. Specific responsibilities inlcude (but may not be limited to): Assist external service provider obtain testing support/documentation and follow up on reported deviations. Review management responses to reported SOC deviations for accuracy and clarity and update the responses, as necessary, to provide consistency across a broad-range of reports. Assist business unit management update risk matrices and provide guidance, as needed. Manage and track the quarterly SOC bridge letter approval process, update the quarterly bridge letter, and obtain required approval from companies legal department. Provide information to companies clients and/or their auditors. Maintain and update representation letter, SOC coordinator and control-owner contact lists. Follow-up, to conclusion, on open SOC deviations to ensure the root causes are satisfactorily remediated. Ensure that SOC-related questions, concerns and issues are addressed and communicated appropriately in a timely manner including: Researching information, company policies and/or company practices to appropriately respond to complicated client and/or associate SOC-related questions. Assist company client service reps or sales associates by responding directly to clients or participating in client calls. Serve as project manager on moderate to large SOC-related projects and perform special projects as needed. Perform IT audits, as requested, including scoping the project, executing and closing the audit in compliance with departmental requirements. Develop robust draft audit reports that need minimal revisions. Demonstrate the confidence and ability to discuss issues and findings with business unit and/or IT management and obtain sound management responses.
What your background should be
- Minimum 4 years of experience in public or national accounting firm, or comparable business experience. CISA, CIA, or PMP preferred. Knowledge of SSAE 16, CSAE 3416, ISAE 3402. Knowledge of MS Office Suite. Assimilate and apply knowledge in areas such as: general business, transaction processing, business writing, business risk and mitigation techniques. Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills. Facilitate teamwork by contributing to team efforts, sharing responsibility for team results and exhibiting a positive attitude.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelo degree in accounting, business, finance or economics.
