What you'll be doing
- The sales engineer will work as a member of the sales team to provide in-depth technical knowledge and support during the sales cycle, enabling prospects and customers in the deployment of products. He/she will also engage directly with prospects and customers to showcase the app assure product. This will include leading hands on sales opportunities that include proof of concepts, architecture calls and installation of app assure solution in order to gain technical acceptance from the customer and drive sales revenue. He/she is expected to interact at all levels of the prospect/customer IT organization including the decision makers. Assist in the qualification and training of junior staff as needed.
What your background should be
- Minimum 5 years of IT expertise and knowledge of solutions development, components and architectures. Experience working as part of a technical team. Minimum 2 years of experience in pre-sales or related field. Relevant experience with core IT technologies such as enterprise storage, network systems, software and peripherals, disaster recovery, backup and recovery solutions and concepts. Experience with virtualization technologies, and cloud computing models. Strong technical problem solving skills.
