What you'll be doing
- As a Smarter Cities Sales Representative, candidate will be responsible for identifying, progressing and closing solutions that address candidates clients business needs and deliver tangible client value while supporting smarter cities business strategies. Candidate will work to create solutions, which tailored to clients business needs and integrate other company smarter cities capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the competition. In this role, it is essential that applicant will able to apply industry specific knowledge and experience to bring new business and technology insights to new line of business buyers at company assigned clients. Manage a broad territory to drive new sales and expand existing business. Prospect creatively through campaigns, business partners, and other activities to identify new clients. Provide sales leadership and move sales opportunities to closure. Work with other sellers, business partners, and units of company as needed to create an effective solution for the client. Maintain a thorough understanding of the clients industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry. Meet quarterly and annual sales revenue quotas.
What your background should be
- At least 3 years of experience in complex software solution sales to commercial enterprises, State and city governments preferred. Basic knowledge in intelligence and cyber security challenges and solutions. Business to business (B2B) sales and pre-sales experience at the executive level. Territory planning and territory management skills. Consultative selling experience to the executive level. Ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution.
