What you'll be doing

The company is currently seeking for a sous chef. Maintain impeccable kitchen with high standards in hygiene and food safety practices. Assist in costing and budget for all food and labor, with the ability to produce detailed reports. Map out and set standards for the kitchen staff regarding organization and alignment. Inspecting deliveries for consistency and quality of ingredients. Create dishes to perfection according to menu specifications. Ensure staff prepares menu items following recipes and yield guides, in accordance with department standards. Perform other duties as assigned by management if required.

What your background should be

Restaurant and fine dining experience is an asset. Strong Team oriented attitude and values and disposition. Creative approach to culinary design and presentation. Ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel. Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to delegate.
