What you'll be doing

Design and create training material to support the proper use of the flow cytometry instruments and protocols to be used at customer sites. Such as quick guides, PowerPoint presentations, implementation procedures, etc. Develop and implement training programs (workshops, on line and onsite training) for internal (technical service) and external customers to maintain desired levels of customer satisfaction and reference ability. Provide technical assistant to aid customer in the proper use of company flow cytometry solutions (including all hardware software, reagents, sample preparation, data handling and any additional technologies that may be added to the cyrometry portfolio). Troubleshoot problems incurred by users either remotely or by direct visit and work to find solutions. Maintain training/demo flow cytometry lab and instruments at an operational level. Participate and present company instruments and technology in customer meetings and trade shows, seminars and workshops as needed. Assist SAI personnel to plan and execute beta testing in Latin America if necessary. Support marketing and sales department with pre sales demos as needed. Additional duties and responsibilities according to business needs.

What your background should be

Minimum 4-5 years required experience in flow cytometry, immunology, cell biology including experience in the USA Armed Forces. General computer knowledge in a Windows environment is required. Basic knowledge of LIS systems and interfacing principles desirable. Excellent command of English and Spanish, both verbal and written; third language Portuguese desirable. Adult teaching skills and experience required. Outstanding listening and learning skills, patience and understanding. Demonstrated presentation and influence skills. Team orientation; demonstrated facilitation skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree.
