What you'll be doing
- The SQL project manager manage day to day project activities of small to medium complexity or units/phases of a larger complex project plan, execute, control and close out project against defined scope and budget. The applicant will utilize accepted standards and procedures. Maintain team relationships and team coaching and development. Manage stakeholder expectations, risk and ensure compliance. The successful candidate will lead a team in high-level research and analysis of business requirements, detailed design specification, program code development, testing, and deployment of small to medium complexity projects. S/he will plan as required including delivery of the applicable SDLC and PMLC documents. Provide effective and timely communications to the business partner, key stakeholders, and the project team. Status reporting, project change control, continual risk/issue assessment, and escalation are essential. Collaborate with the management team to manage the overall project portfolio, and challenge the team and participate in the development of strategy to address gaps. Coordinate with a team that consists of business analyst, IT specialists, and developers.
What your background should be
- The successful candidate should have proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects. S/he should have full life cycle development experience and experience with proven project methodology tools. The incumbent should have PMI or ITIL certificate. The applicant should be expertise in ms project, excel, visio, and power point.
