What you'll be doing

Initiate and create project designs and plans along with presentation material and design drawings/models in a variety of media. Utilize extensive knowledge of architectural design, building materials, and construction methods, as well as integration of engineering disciplines and building costs and codes in development of design. Develop the design to address the client needs inclusive of budget, schedule and goals. Assemble necessary design documentation and visualization for conceptual, schematic and design development design phases, including client presentations. Compile and maintain the project product manual which records design decisions. Maintain frequent communication with the project manager and other appropriate individuals to sustain proper information flow. Coordinate the work of the project design team during the design phase of each assigned project, including internal staff and consultants. Monitor budget and schedule requirements for project design.

What your background should be

8+ years experience in design, creating project design solutions. Licensed architect required; professional registration preferred. Advanced computer and information management skills (AutoCAD, Revit, 3d Modelling)

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelors of architecture required.
