What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain Linux based certification authorities (CAs) and will have a key role in maintaining their compliance with the certificate policy (CP) and certification practices statement (CPS). Create and maintain scripts used for process workflow, monitoring, and reporting. You are expected to become proficient in developing cross platform solutions for PKI enabled applications. Develop skills working with multiple identity and security tools. The ideal candidate will be expected to document work and follow specific guidelines, as required to meet audit requirements. The candidate will be expected to implement ITIL based processes and procedures to reduce costs and improve cycle time. This role involves following precise processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company security policies, government requirements, industry standards, and internal organizational mandates.

What your background should be

4 years administrative experience working with UNIX or LINUX (red hat). 4 year’s experience in hardware configuration and UNIX integration. 4 years shell scripting skills and experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to work with global IT customer requests and security issues. Good presentation and communication skills. Excellent documentation and process management skills. Work well with a variety of security team members in developing secure solutions to customer requests self-starter, able to work well with little supervision. Ability to understand and apply security policies and procedures to customer solutions. Certificate based access system. Understanding of PKI principles UNIX middleware tools web based languages. JavaScript, Java, and HTML. Experience with web server. Apache HTTPD preferred. Remote system support, UNIX monitoring tools. Previous experience working a database system or LDAP directory system. Interfacing with large and diverse hardware and software systems.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in information systems/technology, computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
