What you'll be doing
- Manage a team of analytical staff. Manage and maintain relationships with all credit bureaus including other strategic analytic vendors. Execute acquisition campaigns for various products including for card, personal loans, student loans and home loans. Ensure correct implementation of campaign criteria at the credit-bureaus and proper alignment with underwriting strategies. Ensure on-going credit-bureau campaigns and activities meet the required contractual service level agreements. Manage large credit bureau management initiatives that impact data usage across the enterprise. Drive credit-bureau campaign related initiatives, understand production systems and evaluate capabilities for analytics, decision making, and reporting. Maintain knowledge of capabilities from an industry perspective. Understand compliance and regulatory requirements with respect to data. Prepare and present data related topics to all levels of staff and management. Driving continuous improvement with innovation, creativity and a pro-active approach in order to stay ahead of the curve. Recruiting, training, coaching and motivating new talent with exceptional quantitative/ analytical skill sets and competencies.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in credit card or related financial services industries. Excellent communication/ influencing skills and ability to navigate through matrixed, integrated organizational charts and reach out to various constituent groups. Ability to approach new business processes and opportunities, identify risks and build an analytical framework. Pro-active and creative approach to problem solving. Ability to articulate strong and well-founded points of view and effectively communicate them to all levels of the organization; senior management, peers and subordinates. Experience in project management and team leadership.
Required Schooling / Training
- Master degree preferred
