What you'll be doing

The Sr. NOC Technician in the Network Operations Center (NOC) will provide 24x7 engagement for the networks, customers, and devices populated in the NOC monitoring tools. Ability to perform basic and refined troubleshooting on Network Routers and Switches as well as Unix-based servers and applications. Create a positive and respectful relationship with all colleagues. Follow up all current and future NOC policies and provide feedback on suggestions for improving/modifying the policies on an ongoing basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Analyst will utilize various industry standard tools as well as TWC specific tools. The correlation of data from multiple systems will assist the analyst in making prudent decisions as to potential customer impact and problem severity.

What your background should be

Three+ years of related experience required. Strong experience with Network Management tools is essential. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and Visio. Responsible for facilitating and having a leadership presence on event bridges. Monitor network health, establish baseline trends and detect network health anomalies. Understanding of HSD, Digital video, VOD, Switched, and Networking.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree from a college or university in Engineering.
