Sr. Security Assistant

What you'll be doing: Selected candidate will function as an operator in the newly developed Security Operations Service Center (SOSC). He / She will provide commonly used security services to the IS&GS population across all lines of business. Examples of services the centers will provide include but are not limited to the following: the incumbent will successfully be participating in badging, he/she will be involved in visitor processing, he/she will have to escort coordination, he/she also will be playing the role of contractor screening, he/she will have to assist with the clearance issues, document control, and referrals to subject matter experts within Security Operations.

What your background should be: Working knowledge of security disciplines and processes; good work ethic; outstanding customer service skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented; proficient computer skills are required. Experience with Remedy ticketing system; expertise in MS Office Tools Suite; efficient telephonic knowledge; experience in service center operations are desired.
